Sally Samaan

I search for a self—
fragmented between light
and shadow,
between machine whispers
and human breath.
Windows of code dissolve
into glass and flesh;
memory flickers,
a reflection caught,
a preservation of what fades.
I am the echo of transmission,
the silence of preservation,
the body dissolving—
yet still becoming
